(Talk Media News) — Bernie Sanders was declared to be in “overall very good health” by a doctor on Thursday, and can work in his professional life “without limitation.”
Sanders, 74, has been treated for conditions including gout, mild hypercholesterolemia, diverticulitis, hypothyroidism, laryngitis secondary to esophageal reflux, lumbar strain, and the removal of superficial skin tumors.
The letter goes on to say that Sanders is up to date on all vaccinations and that he has no history of cardiovascular disease.
Presidential candidates typically release their health histories to show voters that they are medically fit to both campaign for office and hold the office should they be elected.
The examination was conducted by Dr. Brian Monahan, who said that Sanders was in “overall very good health and active in your professional work, and recreational lifestyle without limitation.”
