WASHINGTON – Half of U.S. voters approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance, according to a poll released Monday.

The Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll found that 50% of the respondents said they think Trump is doing a good job while 49% said they do not think he is doing a good job.

Moreover, 38% said they strongly approve of Trump’s job performance and 39% said they strongly disapprove.

The survey included 1,500 likely voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

Monday’s poll results are fairly consistent with Trump’s approval ratings for the month thus far, which according to Rasmussen projections have ranged from 49% to 51%.

The latest Gallup poll, which was released on April 30, showed Trump’s approval rating at 46%.

Most of the recent polls have more or less mirrored Gallup’s results.
