Polls: Less than half approve of Trump’s job performance

WASHINGTON – Less than half of U.S. voters approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance, according to a series of polls released Wednesday.

The Morning Consult/Politico poll found that 41% of the respondents said Trump is doing a good job and 56% said he is not doing a good job. Meanwhile, 3% said they either do not know or have no opinion as to whether Trump is doing a good job.

The survey included 1,995 registered voters and was carried out May 10-12. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.

An Economist/YouGov poll found that 44% of the respondents said Trump is doing a good job and 52% said he is not doing a job.

The survey included 1,244 registered voters and was carried out May 12-14. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.

A Rasmussen Reports poll found that 48% of the respondents said Trump is doing a good job and 50% said he is not doing a good job.

The survey included 1,500 likely voters and is a daily tracking poll. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
