WASHINGTON – Half of U.S. voters approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance, according to a poll released Monday.

The Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll found that 50% of the respondents said they think Trump is doing a good job and 49% said they do not think he is doing a good job.

Moreover, 34% said they strongly of Trump’s job performance and 40% said they strongly disapprove.

The survey included 1,500 likely voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

Monday’s poll results show Trump at his highest approval rating for the month thus far, which according to Rasmussen projections had not exceeded 49%.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Sunday showed Trump’s approval rating at 44%.

Barack Obama had a 43% approval rating at roughly the same point in his presidency, according to a Gallup survey.
