Washington – As the senate heads out of town to campaign for the midterm elections, GOP Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) affirms to TMN that he is sanguine at the prospect of Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) winning his senate seat and he tells Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) his forecast:

Corker’s forecast is affirmed by recent polling from the NY Times/Siena, CBS News/YouGov, FOX News, and CNN showing Blackburn leading on average 49.3 to 43.8 percent over her Democratic senate rival and former Tennessee governor, Phil Bredesen.
