Pelosi rejects Trump’s ‘merit based’ immigration proposal

Capitol Hill – President Donald Trump’s ‘merit based’ immigration announcement is immediately rejected by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). She says:

In other news, President Trump is shouted a question on Iran:

Trump, when asked if we are going to war with Iran says “I hope not.”

Looking forward, Alabama’s ex-gubernatorial candidate, Stacy Abrams, counsels pro-choice advocates in an LA Times interview not to boycott Alabama’s film industry, but to leverage it. She says:

“Georgia is the only state that is such a deep part of the film industry that also has the type of draconian leadership that would seek to strip a woman’s autonomy in this way. That puts us in a unique position to fight back — not only against the legislation here but the legislation around the country — and to fund the defeat of these politicians and their horrible behavior by using the resources available through the entertainment industry.”
