Capitol Hill – Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) of Wisconsin left office in January, but that doesn’t sway President Donald Trump from launching into a late-night twitter attack slamming Ryan saying:

Trump’s late-night Twitter rant might have been prompted by recent publicity of Tim Alberta’s upcoming book “American Carnage,” detailing how Republicans dealt with the rise of Trump.

Alberta, quoting Ryan, said, “he [Trump] didn’t know anything about government … I wanted to scold him all the time.”

Trump’s late-night attack betrays his complimentary tweet to Ryan from April 2018, saying:

In other news, Republican lawmakers are reportedly pushing back on a White House plan that calls for a vote to raise the debt ceiling in July and relaunch budget negotiations in the fall after the August recess.
