Trump sees cheering crowds, not protesters; tariffs likely, Republicans back him; 94% GOP approval rating

THE WHITE HOUSE – That was President Donald Trump commenting on the thousands of protesters on London’s streets today.

On tariffs with Mexico, Trump said:

(Audio: tariffs will likely go on)

But that they were necessary because:

(Audio: millions of people streaming through the border)

And that:

(Audio: we need border security)

When asked if Republicans in Congress would back him, Trump replied:

(Audio: Republicans won’t block him)

And that:

(Audio: I have a 94% approval rating among Republicans)
