THE WHITE HOUSE –
(AUDIO: Trump at JBA)
That was President Donald Trump speaking to reporters today at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) following his trip to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly this week and after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the commencement of an impeachment inquiry and hours after an unclassified redacted version of the whistleblower report was released to the public.
The complaint reads in part:
“This interference [with Ukraine] includes, among other things, pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the President’s main domestic political rivals. The President’s personal lawyer, Mr. Rudolph Giuliani, is a central figure in this effort. Attorney General Barr appears to be involved as well.”
On his flight back to the White House, Trump tweeted:
A whistleblower with second hand information? Another Fake News Story! See what was said on the very nice, no pressure, call. Another Witch Hunt!

On the whistleblower, Trump said:
(AUDIO: Never should be allowed what is happening.)
And to the United States Mission to the United Nations, Trump reportedly said to staff:
“You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart with spies and treason, right? We used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”
Trump expressed his frustration at House Judiciary Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.):
(AUDIO: Have to put up with Adam Schiff)
Trump got to the aim of the allegation in the report, complaining that:
(AUDIO: But Schiff doesn’t talk about Joe Biden)
And Trump opined on his view of Democrats:
(AUDIO: Democrats doing a disgrace – maybe legally)
Upon landing on the South Lawn of the White House, Trump circumvented the press scrum, greeted the invited well-wishers, entered the executive mansion, and stole through the building to the Oval Office.
