THE WHITE HOUSE – President Donald Trump defended House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) from freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who implied to The Washington Post that Pelosi is a racist by resorting to “the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”

Pelosi cautioned Ocasio-Cortez through the Washington Post that “a majority is a fragile thing.” She warned, “You make me the target, but don’t make our [moderates] the target in all of this, because we have important fish to fry.”

Later, CNN’s Manu Raju asked Ocasio-Cortez if she thought Pelosi was a racist, and she replied, “No, no, absolutely not, absolutely not.”

But Ocasio-Cortez’ implication has left its mark. Rep. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) scorched her to The Hill. “What a weak argument, because you can’t get your way and because you’re getting pushback you resort to using the race card? Unbelievable.”

The democratic quarrel has overflowed in a such a public manner that Seth MacFarlane, creator of “Family Guy” with 14.3 million Twitter followers, tweeted:
